The Adobe InDesign CS4 Products SDK includes libraries, sample code, tools, and documentation for writing C++ based plug-ins for all CS4 versions of InDesign, InCopy. The CS4 InDesign product family release contains several strategic architectural enhancements designed specifically for developers and partners.

For example:

• InDesign Markup Language (IDML) providing support for external creation and editing of content outside of an InDesign application + Scheme Validation
• New Links architecture supporting URI links in a managed database and highly extensible new UI
